Academic Requirements:
International Year Zero:
- If your school-leaving qualification means you do not qualify for direct entry to the undergraduate programmes then Bangor University considers you for entry into one of the International Year Zero programme. After successfully completing year zero at BUIC, you will progress onto a Bachelor degree program at Bangor University.
Undergraduate Courses:
- For entry into the first year of our 3 or 4-year undergraduate / Bachelor's degree programmes, Bangor University asks for a school leaving qualification which is equivalent to the British school leaving qualification, (A-levels / International Baccalaureate).
Postgraduate Courses:
- Entry into Bangor University's postgraduate Master's courses requires an undergraduate/bachelor degree of equivalent standard to the British undergraduate/bachelor degree with a minimum grade equivalent to British second-class honours.

Bachelor's degree minimum 2nd Class division or equivalent. For MBA courses work experience and GMAT are not essential. Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis. IELTS: 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) Pearson PTE: a score of 56 (with no element lower than 51) Minimum 70% score obtained in ‘English’ subject in Class-XII school exams Composers may be asked to submit representative samples of their creative work (normally two or three pieces); these can be notated scores, or audio recordings, or both, and maybe sent on paper, as a data DVD, or via a web link such as Dropbox. Performers will be asked to audition or, where this is not feasible, to submit a recent unedited recorded video performance featuring contrasting repertoire (25-30 minutes). A sample of academic work may also be requested from performers. Applications from working professionals with non-graduate qualifications will be considered on an individual basis and candidates may be asked to submit a piece of written work in support of their application.
