About Us
Middlesex University London is a public university in Hendon, north west London, England. It is located within the historic county boundaries of Middlesex from which it takes its name. It is one of the post-1992 universities and is a member of the Million+ working group. With more than 130 years’ experience under their belt, it remains a world-class centre for education,research and skills-based learning. To get here, they have had to constantly challenge themselves, invent and evolve.
In 2012, the university re-structured its academic schools to align them more closely with the needs of industry.
Courses at Middlesex are now delivered by the schools of Business, Law, Art and Design, Health and Education, Media and Performing Arts and Science and Technology, alongside the university Institute for Work Based Learning, which provides training for organisations and individuals in their place of work.
The university has recently completed a multi-million-pound infrastructure project developing its lecture theatres, libraries, laboratories and study areas.
The university's flagship campus in Hendon, north London, is one of the capital's biggest and most spacious. Only a short tube journey away from central London, the campus has a truly international feel with students from over 140 countries.
The campus is fully self-contained with accommodation, learning resources and plenty of places to eat, drink and relax with friends.

Accommodation for International Students

Accommodation is prioritized for full-time international students. Accommodation is provided in 5 self-catering halls, ranging from traditional halls with shared bathrooms to modern apartments with en-suite rooms, all situated on or near the university's London campus.
There are two main types of accommodation available while at Middlesex:
Halls of residence: Living in halls is a great way to make the most out of your university years. Accommodation in halls of residence varies from luxurious en-suite studios to simple dormitory-style rooms. As a Middlesex student you are guaranteed a place in halls if you fulfill the criteria of their guarantee scheme. Choose to apply to one of self-catering halls of residence in North London, including their brand-new halls in Olympic Way.
Private rented accommodation: Accommodation available can include flats, houses or lodgings with a live-in landlord. These options are usually located away from the University's main halls of residence. There is Internet access in all halls, and costs include bills. Eligibility: Any non-EU international undergraduate student in any subject International students may be eligible for £1,000 - £2,000 towards course fees for the first year of study.
