Academic Entry Requirements:

Undergraduate Courses:

To apply for a place on an undergraduate course (BA/BSc) you need to have completed your high school education (12 years) and have a pass equivalent to two UK A-level passes, and have the required English language qualification.

Postgraduate Courses:

The normal entry requirements for postgraduate degrees (MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) are a good honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in an appropriate subject from a recognised university or HE institution. We also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with appropriate work experience.

  • 1) IELTS: Overall 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each element
  • 2) TOEFL iBT: Overall 72 with Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17

  • 4) LanguageCert (SELT): Minimum 33 in each skill

Postgraduate Courses:

Course Modules

Have developed a range of key transferable skills to promote professional practice in the workplace

and to support lifelong learning.

2. Have acquired, and be able to demonstrate, a secure and accurate knowledge and understanding of

the scientific principles underpinning the study of animal management to foundation degree level.

3. Have developed knowledge across the key specialisms of animal management to support

professional practice.

4. Have developed as a reflective, flexible, independent learner, with a view to further progression.

5. Have acquired, and be able to demonstrate, the skills necessary to complete a research project, with

minimum guidance, collecting and processing data and sampling inferential statistics.

6. Have demonstrated abilities in a range of appropriate practical techniques and skills relevant to work

in the animal management industry.

7. Be able to demonstrate the skills needed to evaluate animal management information from a variety

of sources and communicate the principles of the subject matter both orally and in writing.

8. Have acquired, and be able to demonstrate, the ability to critically review information and data from

the animal management industry.

9. Be able to comprehend, practise and demonstrate the personal responsibilities and professional

conduct of an operative within the animal management industry taking into account the relevant

ethical and social issue
