The University of Liverpool sets general entry requirements for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs for international applicants, which vary based on academic qualifications and country-specific requirements.
For undergraduate programs, international applicants typically need to meet academic standards equivalent to those required for British students. This may include specific subject requirements and a certain level of academic achievement in their high school or secondary education. Additionally, proficiency in the English language is essential, often demonstrated through standardized English language proficiency tests or completion of English language qualifications.
Postgraduate entry requirements for international applicants usually entail holding a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. The degree should be relevant to the chosen field of study, and applicants may be required to demonstrate a certain level of academic achievement in their undergraduate studies. Furthermore, proficiency in English is imperative for postgraduate study, and applicants may need to provide evidence of language proficiency through recognized tests or qualifications.
Country-specific requirements may apply to both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants, considering educational systems and qualifications from different countries. The university assesses each applicant's qualifications individually to ensure they meet the necessary standards for admission.
Furthermore, course-specific requirements may apply, necessitating prior study in related fields or professional experience. These requirements ensure that applicants possess the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for success in their chosen programs. Overall, the University of Liverpool seeks to admit international students who demonstrate both academic aptitude and English proficiency, while also considering the specific requirements of their chosen course of study and country of origin.
