IELTS
In terms of IELTS, these two levels are as follows (but we also accept a number of other English Language Qualifications):

The only course that does not use one of these two levels is Medicine BMBS, which requires an IELTS score of 7.5 overall and not less than 7.0 in each section. We would expect English language qualifications to have been achieved within the two years prior to starting.

Bachelors degree with an overall mark of at least 55-70% depending on your university. You are suited to this course if you have a background in a scientific or technical subject or other discipline (including computing and cognitive subjects) demonstrating either numeracy or computer literacy. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing. Our entry requirements are guidelines and we assess all applications on a case-by-case basis. IELTS (Academic) Standard level (6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in each component). Pearson (PTE Academic) 62 overall, including at least 56 in all four skills. TOEFL (iBT) 88 overall, including at least 20 in Listening, 19 in Reading, 21 in Speaking, 23 in Writing. |
